What time does the festival start on Saturday, November 23?
The festival begins at 10AM. That is when ticket booths will open for beer/wine garden/Lush Cocktail Garden opens, bounce house inflatables, vendor booths open and community performances begin.
How much does it cost to attend?
The event is completely free to attend. There are drink tickets available for purchase, food trucks with food to purchase, vendors to shop and all day bounce house inflatable wristbands from 10am-8pm for $25. (Cash and Card accepted)
Is this a rain or shine event?
Yes, event will take place, rain or shine. Luckily for us it's supposed to be 75 degrees and sunny perfection on Saturday, November 23.
Can I bring my pet with me to the park?
Yes, all dogs/pets must be on leash at all times and must be well-behaved in public. Please make sure to bring leash and water bowl so you and your furry friend can enjoy the day.
How long are the bounce houses available on Saturday?
We are excited to feature a newly located Candycane Lane, home to all the inflatables and bounce houses a child could climb upon. Candycane Lane be placed on the upper baseball field and we are extending the operation of Candycane Lane for an additional 3 hours, open from 10am-8pm. This change will allow the bounce houses to operate past dusk as the lights on the baseball fields will provide automatic lighting. All-day wristbands are available for $25.
Are children allowed into the 21+ beer and wine Tavern or cocktail garden?
All children under two are allowed to enter the beer tavern or cocktail garden. Please make sure to bring ID for wristbands. Cash/Card accepted at all ticketing booths.
Is cash accepted at the event?
Cash will be accepted at all Light Up Ahwatukee ticket booths for beer/wine and inflatables. It will be up to each additional marketplace/food vendor whether they accept cash or not.
I am late to sign up to volunteer! Can I still do so?
Yes, we are always looking for additional volunteers. If you are not already pre-signed up before the event begins on Saturday, you can find more information at the LIGHT UP AHWATUKEE tent. SIGN UP HERE

I'm planning on being there all day with my family. Any tips?
Please feel free to bring blankets, chairs and set up shop around the park. You are welcome to bring water. Please feel free to bring cash/cards, ID for anyone going into Beer Tavern or Cocktail Garden. Also, layers are great to bring as the weather changes throughout the day. Come on out and enjoy!
Is there ADA parking available?
Yes, there are a certain number of ADA spots available in the parking lot directly next to the park.
Can we bring our own blankets and chairs to the event?
Please feel free to bring blankets, chairs and set up shop around the park.
Where do we park?Parking - please note
PARKING! >> Please note on Saturday morning, Marketplace Way will be closed to the public. There are no shuttles available. Please plan to arrive early and take advantage of the street parking around the park and plan on walking a bit to get to the party. There are limited handicap spots in the park's parking lot located by the playground. If those are filled, there will be space in the dirt lot by that lower parking lot which can be accessed by Chandler Blvd.
RIDESHARING We highly suggest dropoffs, Uber/Lyft as well. Please use the address 1010 E Marketplace Wy SW, Phoenix, AZ 85048 when using ride sharing
